Spring 2017 Classes

REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGH THE SECOND WEEK OF CLASS.

CYT offers three class sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring) per school year for students age 6-18. Each session includes ten weekly classes of drama, dance, voice, and other theater specialties. For the final week of class, students display a portion of what they have learned by participating in a high-energy Showcase for family and friends. Students develop their skills by learning from experienced teachers, performers, and technicians while having fun and making lifelong friends! Showcase for the Spring 2017 session will be 7 pm, Tuesday, May 30th at the Kroc Center Theater. This is a free performance.

Enrolled students, age 8-18, also are eligible to audition for this session's CYT Broadway-style musical. Students may also serve as ushers, work on a backstage crew, assist with props, makeup, costumes, or special activities (raffles and souvenir table). Families who become part of the cast will incur some additional expenses such as a production fee ($95/student, $60/each additional student) and, if needed, makeup, shoes, tights, etc. Many of the show fees are optional and can be purchased online.
